The community block party begins at 7:30 a.m. on The Square @ Union Centre, 9285 Centre Pointe Drive. Race day registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race begins at 8:30 a.m.
Register now for the 7th Annual Shamrock Shuffle! More than 3,000 runners and walkers are expected to participate in this year's event, which will feature a 5k run/walk, a 10k run, the IKEA Leprechaun Lap and a block party for spectators and participants.
All proceeds from this event benefit The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty and dozens of community charities. 
Organized by The Union Centre Boulevard Merchant Association, the Shamrock Shuffle has grown from a few hundred participants to the nearly 3,000 estimated for this year.
Some local roadways will be impacted by the Saturday morning event, but access will be maintained to all businesses. The Winter Farmers' Market will be held on West Chester Towne Centre Drive from 2 to 3:30 p.m. as scheduled.
Road closures beginning Friday, March 8 and continuing until noon March 11:
West Chester Towne Centre Drive between Centre Loop and The Square;
Centre Pointe Drive between the AK Steel entrance and the West Chester Library entrance.
Road closures beginning Saturday, March 9, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.:
West Chester Road between Union Centre Boulevard and AK Steel access drive;
Lakota West Drive between Eagle Ridge roundabout and Union Centre Boulevard;
Union Centre Boulevard between West Chester Road and Beckett Road.
Please follow all posted detours. Union Centre detour will be northbound Union Centre, west on West Chester Road and north on Beckett Road, reversed for southbound Union Centre traffic.
Roads impacted, but not closed: Motorists are also advised to use caution along other parts of the 10K race route, including Beckett Ridge Boulevard, Rupp Farm, Owl's Nest and all adjoining streets: and Eagle Ridge Drive at the round-about.
Beckett Park and recycling center: Beckett Park and the recycling center located in the park will not be accessible from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9.
Access to the West Chester Library will be limited from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. due to the race route.
Lakota West High School will not be accessible between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 9.
