Community Development Specialist (Part-Time)

West Chester Township Community Development Department seeks a part-time Community Development Specialist. Responsibilities include a variety of routine and complex administrative, clerical, technical, and field work in assistance to the Planning and Code Enforcement Departments.

Candidates should have general knowledge of zoning terminology and procedures as well as basic residential, commercial, and industrial construction practices. Also, a minimum of two years applicable experience, high school graduate, valid Ohio driver's license, computer literate, excellent writing and people skills.

Part-Time/Paid-on-Call Firefighter/EMT

The West Chester Fire Department is seeking qualified candidates for paid-on-call and part-time firefighter/EMT positions. Individuals filling these positions help support West Chester's full-time firefighting force. Qualifications

Fire Captain - Loss Prevention Bureau

West Chester Fire Department is accepting applications for Career Fire Captain to serve as manager of the Loss Prevention Bureau. Must meet the Standard for Professional Qualifications of Professional Fire Fighter State of Ohio, Fire Officer, and possess Ohio Fire Safety Inspector certification; CPR certification, and minimum of First Responder certification; 5 years experience in plan review, fire inspection, and code enforcement; 2 years supervisory experience; any equivalent combination of education and job experience may be considered. Salary $74,247.88; excellent benefit package.

Seasonal Laborer

West Chester Township has immediate need for seasonal help (40-hour work week) in Parks, Roads, and Cemetery depts. Duties include grass mowing, road & park maintenance. Work now through October.
