Stakeholder Meeting - Tylersville Road Improvement Phase 2

The Butler County Engineer's Office will begin improvements to Tylersville Road from I-75 to Cox Road on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

Construction will occur during the overnight hours, 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., and traffic will be maintained. The public and your employees, however, should expect some delays.  The tentative completion date is June 26, 2020.

This improvement, known as Tylersville Road Improvement - Phase 2, is a follow up to Phase 1, completed in 2015.  Phase 2 will involve the construction of a westbound lane on Tylersville Road from Cox Road to the northbound I-75 entrance ramp, as well as further modifications to Dudley Drive and Doc Drive.  Additional signal modifications at the intersection of the northbound I-75 on/off ramp, Dudley Drive/Kingsgate Way, and Cox Road are also part of Phase 2.

Roadwork is always inconvenient. West Chester Township and the BCEO are committed to share information and respond to concerns throughout the project in order to lessen the impact to those who live, work and operate businesses in this area. These are a few ways to stay updated and note concerns:

  • The BCEO website, as well as Facebook and Twitter @bceonews will be updated with possible date and status changes concerning this closure –
  • All are invited to a monthly stakeholder meeting that will include representatives of the BCEO, West Chester and the construction team. The group will meet at 8:00 a.m., the first Friday of each month beginning April 3 at the Miami University VOA Campus, 7847 VOA Park Drive, West Chester Township, OH 45069.
