WCFD hires firefighter/paramedic and fire inspector
The Board of Trustees approved two new hires to fill West Chester Fire Department vacancies. Brian Bradford fills the vacant, full-time position of career firefighter/paramedic at the annual exempt salary of $54,365. Bradford has been a part-time firefighter for West Chester since April 2014. Bradford’s hire completes the complement of 42 full-time firefighter/paramedics on staff.
Maurice Byrd fills the vacant, part-time position of fire inspector at the non-exempt hourly rate of $17.70.
