Portion of Fields Ertel Road under construction thru June 2019
West Chester Township will undertake a major street improvement project in cooperation with the City of Sharonville on Fields Ertel Road from just west of Copperfield Drive to US Route 42.
The scheduled start date is July 16, 2018 and the scheduled completion date is June 28, 2019. All work is performed weather permitting.
The scope of work will include:
- culvert reconstruction
- water line replacement
- road widening and resurfacing
- ·new curbs, gutters and catch basins
- ·new sidewalks on the north side of the road
Access will be maintained for all residents who live on Fields Ertel Road within the construction limits. Fields Ertel Road will be closed to thru traffic until November 19, 2018. All other residents in the area will be detoured to Reed Hartman Boulevard, I-275, and US Route 42.
Construction will be kept to a minimum after November 19, 2018 and will resume in the spring of 2019. Once construction resumes next year, Fields Ertel Road will remain open to thru traffic but will be maintained with flaggers and some delays should be expected.
Residents directly impacted by this work should have already received notification.
