Fire Lieutenant promoted to Shift Captain
A 20+ year veteran of the West Chester Fire Department has been promoted to Shift Captain.
The West Chester Board of Trustees approved the promotion of Lt. Brandon Tully to the soon-to-be vacant position of Shift Captain effective April 7.
Lt. Tully began his fire service career with the West Chester Fire Department as a firefighter/paramedic in 1997. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2008.
“Since being hired, Lt. Tully has dedicated his career to advanced learning and the teaching and training of his peers,” said Fire Chief Rick Prinz.
Trustees voted Tuesday, March 12 ahead of the anticipated April 2019 retirement of Captain Paul Kreiner. Lt. Tully’s approved salary for the new position with new responsibilities is $89,631.32.
