The West Chester Police Department will discontinue some non-essential services to protect the public and staff during the current health crisis. Police will not process vendor permits or requests for fingerprinting for employment checks and similar.
In an effort to limit exposure and non-essential visits to the Police Department, these services will not be offered.
"Residents should avoid opening their door to people they don’t know or have not been scheduled, by you, to come to your home," Chief Herzog said.
For door-to-door salespeople, please refrain from soliciting at this time. Permits will not be processed and, therefore, door-to-door solicitations are not permitted; and would be considered a violation of the Ohio Health Department Stay at Home order.
