Ortiz, a veterinarian and long-time West Chester resident, begins her first four-year term on the Board.

"I am absolutely honored and humbled to be able to sit up here for the next four years and represent the people of West Chester," Ortiz said. "I love West Chester and I want to make it a place where my daughters and future generations will want to stay and raise their families."

Wong was sworn in to begin his sixth term, extending his long service to the community.

"My mantra is just always do the right thing," Wong said. "Our work is for public good – building parks, sidewalks, pickleball or tennis courts. Our residents deserve it."

They join Trustee Ann Becker (far left) on the three-member Board of Trustees.

Township Trustees are elected to four-year terms and are responsible for setting community priorities and guiding local government initiatives.
