ODOT Seeks Input on I-275 Interchange

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 8 conducted a feasibility study to identify alternatives to improve safety and congestion at the I-75/I-275 interchange. They consider capacity improvements, including a new ramp from I-75 southbound to I-275 eastbound and adding a through lane along I-75 northbound to Union Centre Boulevard.

District 8 is recommending alternatives, but they are seeking public input from West Chester residents.

“This will be a huge project for ODOT. It will take years to plan and execute,” said Lisa Brown, Administrator for West Chester Township. “I am pleased that they are seeking our residents’ input, as it will impact them directly. This affects many commutes and travel routes for our citizens, and part of it could influence traffic on Union Centre Boulevard – one of our busiest thoroughfares.”
