SPARK Grants Enhance Businesses

As we continue to celebrate Economic Development Week, we recognize our latest Spark Grant winners! Our Community Development Department offers these grants periodically to help small businesses beautify their storefronts with landscaping, signage, paint and other enhancements.

Ghiovanna Dennis used her grant to paint the exterior of Coterie Lounge, which she owns and runs with her daughter. Shown with Ghiovanna is Township Trustee Ann Becker. Coterie Lounge has been in business for two years in Old West Chester at 8870 Cincinnati Dayton Road.

Jay Byrne purchased an illuminated sign with his grant, which he says has really improved his visibility and traffic at The Donut Hole by Milton Donuts, located at 8268 Princeton Glendale Road. Milton Donuts has six locations in southwest Ohio.
