General Contractors are invited to submit a Bid for the 2024 VOA Improvements Project managed by West Chester Township located at 8070 Tylersville Rd., West Chester, OH 45069.
The work of this project is generally described as construction of a parking lot between Crosley Blvd. and Pepper Pike, bike path to connect to the existing bike path network, construction of Pepper Pike extension, construction of right-in/right-out at Pepper Pike and Tylersville Rd, and storm water management infrastructure. This project will be done in coordination with current construction of the USS Cincinnati Peace Memorial installation on the property.
The Owner requires Work to start no later than May 27, 2025 and Substantial Completion of the Work by July 25, 2025.
Sealed bids will be received by the West Chester Township Board of Trustees of Butler County, Ohio at the Township Administration Office located at 9113 Cincinnati Dayton Road, and will be opened at 10:00 a.m. local time on Monday, March 24, 2025.
A Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2025 to review the Project location. Contractors are to meet at Crosley Blvd. at 8070 Tylersville Rd., West Chester, OH 45069.
Contract Documents may be obtained at ARC Reprographics by contacting them at 513-326-2300. The cost of obtaining sets of bidding documents is non-refundable and is the sole responsibility of the Bidder. ARC Reprographics will maintain the plan holders list. Bidding contractors must be on the list in order to receive addendums directly. Please contact Katrina Hayes at khayes@westchesteroh.org for general inquiries and to submit RFIs.
West Chester Township shall only award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder pursuant to O.R.C. Section 9.312(c). Each Bidder shall submit two (2) copies of its bid to the Owner. Each bid shall be enclosed in a sealed opaque envelope with the Bidder’s name and the title of the Project printed in the upper left-hand corner and addressed as follows: ‘2024 VOA Improvements Project.’ Bids must be received at the West Chester Township Administration office located at 9113 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., West Chester, OH 45069 for the bid opening before 10:00 a.m. EST on March 24, 2025.
In accordance with ORC 153.54, each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, letter of credit, or certified check equal to 10% of the bid price. No proposals will be considered unless submitted on bid forms furnished by West Chester Township.
The Board of Trustees reserves the right to waive any irregularities and/or informalities and to award contracts to the Bidder they deem most capable of successfully executing the scope of the project and meeting the completion dates. This project will comply with all of the guidelines for prevailing wage. This project is tax exempt.
