Doing Business with the Township

West Chester Township solicits quotes and/or bids for purchases in order to be responsible stewards of taxpayer money. The Ohio Revised Code is followed when determining the appropriate process for seeking the most appropriate price and vendor depending on the project.

Vendors

Vendors selected to provide services, equipment and/or products to the Township are required to complete a set of compliance forms before a purchase order can be opened or contract can be approved.

If your company is notified of selection for a project or purchase from the Township, please complete the forms listed below and submit to Finance@westchesteroh.org or to the Township representative with whom the purchase has been arranged.

Notifications of Projects for Bid

For some larger projects, West Chester Township Board of Trustees may advertise to solicit proposals and/or qualifications from companies in order to identify the best partner. 

Requirements for advertising projects to bid is defined by Ohio Revised Code.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS/PROPOSAL

MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, AND PLUMBING CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP FACILITIES ASSESSMENT PROJECT

The West Chester Township Community Services Department is requesting qualifications and proposals from Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Consulting firms for the West Chester Township Facilities Assessment Project.  Firms interested in being considered should reply with the firm’s updated proposal no later than 10:00 am on May 14, 2026.  To obtain a copy of the official request for proposal, please email Joseph Schulte at jschulte@westchesteroh.org.

Qualifications are expected to address the scope of work outlined in the terms of reference and submissions should include Qualifications and experience of firm and proposed team members, proposed approach, timeline for project completion, and fee schedule

Please submit 2 (two) hard copies and an electronic copy (on a flash drive) of the completed RFQ. All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing (mail or e-mail) to Joseph Schulte at the below address or to jschulte@westchesteroh.org. All updates and amendments to this RFP as well as any changes to the proposed schedule will be posted on the Township’s website, www.westchesteroh.org. Notification of these postings will be e-mailed to prospective firms who request the RFP package and provide an e-mail address to the Township.
