West Chester Township Board of Trustees seek to contract with a qualified partner for the purpose of re-writing/updating its Zoning Resolution and Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
West Chester Township is located in Butler County Ohio approximately 18 miles north of Cincinnati. It has a population of more than 61,000 residents and encompasses 35 square miles in area. West Chester Township provides full government services including Police, Fire, EMS, Planning & Zoning and Road Maintenance.
West Chester Township will contract with a qualified vendor(s) for the updates of two documents, the West Chester Zoning Resolution and the West Chester Comprehensive Land Use Plan, as outlined in the specifications of this Request for Proposal/Request for Qualifications (RFP/RFQ).
West Chester Township adopted zoning in 1989 under the West Chester Zoning Resolution (WCZR). Since this time, the original document has been amended eighteen times. The West Chester Zoning Resolution serves to dictate zoning classifications, permitted uses, design standards, Zoning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals and all other aspects of zoning matters in West Chester Township.
The West Chester Comprehensive Land Use Plan was first adopted in 2004 with revisions in 2009, 2010 and 2013. The Comprehensive Land Use Plan serves as the land-use basis for development in West Chester Township.
