West Chester Township is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Part-Time Seasonal/Unskilled Laborers. These positions support Township operations through general maintenance, grounds work, and seasonal projects.

Position Overview

Seasonal/Unskilled Laborers assist Township staff with a variety of hands-on tasks, including outdoor maintenance and light manual labor. This position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, part-time work in a public service environment.

Typical Duties

• Assist with grounds and park maintenance (mowing support, trimming, debris and litter removal)

• Perform general labor and upkeep of Township facilities and properties

• Assist with set-up and tear-down for Township events and projects

• Operate basic hand and power tools (training provided)

• Load, unload, and move materials and equipment

• Follow all safety guidelines and Township policies

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Successful completion of the hiring process

Preferred (Not Required)

• Prior experience in general labor, parks, public works, or maintenance

• Familiarity with basic tools and equipment

• Flexible availability, including early mornings or occasional weekends

Pay & Employment Details

Pay Rate: $21.45 per hour
