Body camera video footage requests are processed in the order they are received. Completion times will vary and are dependent upon the present workload as well as the quantity, length and content of the video(s). Once completed, the requester will receive a downloadable Evidence.com link via email to access the video(s) unless an alternative storage medium has been requested.

Pursuant to Ohio H.B. 315: A state or local law enforcement may charge a requester the actual cost associated with preparing video for inspection or production, not to exceed seventy-five dollars per hour of video produced, nor seven hundred fifty dollars total. As used in this division, “actual cost,” with respect to video records only, means all costs incurred by the state or local law enforcement agency in reviewing, blurring or otherwise obscuring, redacting, uploading, or producing the video records including but not limited to storage medium on which the record is produced, staff time, and any other relevant overhead necessary to comply with the request. 

If a charge is expected in fulfilling your request, you will be notified with an estimate via email that is to be paid in full prior to working on the request.
